1) What information do we collect online? How do we use it?

(a) Information you provide to us
Merchandise Orders
When you place an order on our site, we ask you to provide personally identifiable information by filling out and submitting an online customer order form. This information includes your name, billing/shipping address, telephone number, email address, and your credit card number and expiration date. We use this information to process and fulfill your order. We save the address you provide for shipment.

Sweepstakes and Contests
From time to time this site conducts sweepstakes and contests. All sweepstakes, contests and surveys, are conducted in-house, not by a third party service provider. When
you enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotional feature,
we typically ask you for your name, address, telephone number,
and email address so we can administer the promotion and notify
the winners. We notify winners and obtain an affidavit to
verify each winner's eligibility and to obtain consent to
post each winner's first initial and last name, city and state
of residence. We also send you information by email on upcoming
events, new products and services, and special offers we think
you'll be interested in. However, out of respect for the privacy
of our visitors we provide the option to not receive these
types of communications (see No.
4, below). After a winner's information has been posted
to our site, they may request that it be removed by contacting
our Customer Service team at support@HoopStamps.com.

Surveys
From time to time we administer surveys on our site. Our surveys are anonymous and do not request personally identifiable information. We collect your ratings and evaluations about products and services we provide, and post aggregate information from these surveys on our site. We also collect information about your characteristics and interests, so that we can tailor our site and our products and services to meet your needs and wishes. If you respond to a survey request for comments, we will collect any personally identifiable information that you choose to provide in the comments section. Any comments you provide may also be viewed by other site visitors.

Tracking Traffic and
Usage
In order to make improvements to our site and to assist in making decisions
about the products and services we offer, we track and obtain
data from third parties who track customer traffic patterns
and site usage by using server log files and other collection
devices. These sources collect information such as the address
that identifies your computer, your Internet service provider,
your web browser and operating system type, the URL of the
site from which you came to HoopStamps.com, the time you accessed
our site, and your browsing and purchasing history on HoopStamps.com,
which is monitored by our web analytics service. We do not
link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable
information.

"Cookies"
Cookies are small pieces of information that we send to your computer. They are saved by your browser on your computer's hard drive to store your Shopping Cart information. Our cookies contain only a numeric code, and do not contain any personally identifiable information about you. However, we have the capability to identify you based on the information provided by our cookies, and to correlate that information with your personally identifiable information.
Cookies enable us to provide certain features, such as storing items in your Shopping Cart from the time you add an item to your cart, to the time you purchase your order at checkout.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to change the default. Even without a cookie, you can still use most of the features in our site, but it is possible that some features may not work properly.

Generally
The use of tracking tools and cookies are industry standard - you'll find them at most major web sites.
We analyze data gathered by means of tracking tools and cookies only in the aggregate or for segments of our customer base, and not at the individual customer level. We do not include personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address, in this analysis. Other than referring URLs, we do not follow your browsing path outside of HoopStamps.com.

2) Do we share our information with others?
HoopStamps and HoopStamps.com uses an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We use a third party tracking service which sets cookies on our site to track statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and other data for marketing and promotional purposes. The third party tracking service reports this data to use in aggregate so we can better understand our users and to improve our site. This information is not tied to any individual user.
It is possible that we could decide to sell the URL or businesses operated at HoopStamps.com. In any transaction of this kind, customer information, including your personally identifiable information, may be among the assets that are transferred. It is also possible that HoopStamps would sell all or substantially all of its assets and business, either separately or as part of a transaction involving other components of HoopStamps's business, and in such case customer information would almost certainly be among the assets that are transferred. If we sell our assets in one of these ways, you will be notified by email.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may be required by law to disclose personal information when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with current judicial proceedings, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
Except as described above, we will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personally identifiable or other information to any non-affiliated third party.

3) How do we use email?
Except as described above under No. 2, we do not share your email address with third parties for any purpose.
We occasionally send you other email messages containing information specifically relating to your order (such as shipping delays). We also send one email message to each winner of our contests and sweepstakes.
On rare occasions we send out strictly service related email announcements. These announcements are not promotional in nature. For instance, we might send you an email message if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, or to let you know about a change in our Privacy Policy (see No. 7, below.) Generally, you may opt out of receiving these communications only by contacting Customer Service and requesting they remove your email address.
We send you promotional emails if you enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotional feature on our site, or if you provide your email address when you submit a request to receive our Newsletter.

We encourage your communications, since we use your input to improve our site and the products and services we offer. We review every email we receive. Although we are not staffed to respond to all individual emails, we will respond to your customer service requests and inquiries when appropriate and to other messages when appropriate and as time permits.

6) How do we protect our customers' information?
HoopStamps.com is committed to online data security. Although total security does not exist on the Internet, we take reasonable steps to assure secure transmission and storage of your information. We protect transmission of information between your PC and our servers by utilizing industry standard efforts, such as firewalls, Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and encryption software. We store information relating to our customers on a highly secure server that is not accessible via the Internet.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect your information offline. All of your information is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing clerks or customer service representatives) are authorized to access personally identifiable information. Our employees use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desks. When they return, they re-enter their passwords to regain access to your information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every calendar quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure your information is protected. Finally, the servers where we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment, protected by a security system.
Our site contains links to other sites. HoopStamps and HoopStamps.com are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personally identifiable information.
